Who we are

PatiosOfMadison is operated by Local Knowledge Group LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company based in Madison, WI 53703. We are an independent homeowner resource — not a contractor. Contact us at hello@patiosofmadison.com.

What we collect

We collect information in two ways:

Lead forms. When you submit a project inquiry, we collect your name, email address, phone number, zip code, project size, material preference, timeline, and any other details you provide. We also record your IP address and the timestamp of your consent.

Newsletter signup. When you subscribe to our seasonal guide, we collect your email address and the source of your signup (which form or page).

Automatically collected. When you visit our site, standard web server logs may record your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. We use Vercel Analytics for aggregate, anonymized traffic data. No cookies are used for tracking purposes.

How we use it

Lead information is shared with one pre-screened, vetted contractor in the Madison area, consistent with the consent you provided at submission. We do not sell your information. We do not share it with multiple contractors simultaneously. We do not share it with national lead aggregators.

Newsletter email is used to send our seasonal Madison patio guide — approximately four emails per year, timed to spring planning, mid-season, fall winterizing, and winter budgeting. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Analytics data is used in aggregate to understand how visitors use the site and improve content. It is never linked to your personal information.

Who we share it with

We use the following third-party services to operate this site:

• Supabase — database storage for leads and subscribers (supabase.com)
• Resend — transactional email delivery (resend.com)
• Vercel — website hosting and analytics (vercel.com)

Each provider processes data only as necessary to deliver their service. We do not sell data to any third party.

Data retention

Lead data is retained for up to 24 months for business record and quality assurance purposes, then deleted or anonymized.

Subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe, at which point your record is marked inactive. You may request complete deletion at any time.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent for email communications at any time by unsubscribing

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
